• Booking details — your name, email address, and mobile number, plus optional attendee names and accessibility notes. Used to create and manage your reservation, send confirmations and reminders, and prepare for your class. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Waitlist details — your name, email, phone, and desired quantity when you join a waitlist. Used to contact you if seats open up. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in filling classes fairly.
• Inquiry messages — the details you send through our private workshop form or by email. Used to respond to your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• Technical information — basic device and browser information and how you use the site. Used to keep the site secure and working well. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Payment card details are collected directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your card number.

• Stripe — our payment processor, which handles payment, billing, and tax calculation for your order.
• Service providers — the companies that host our website, database, and email delivery, who process data only on our instructions.
• Professional advisers — such as accountants or legal advisers, where needed.
• Authorities — where we are required to share information by law.

We keep booking records for as long as needed to manage your reservation and meet our tax and accounting obligations, after which personal information is deleted or anonymised. Waitlist entries are kept until the class has taken place or you ask us to remove you.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, email rootedfamilybotanicals@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information.

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep the site working (for example, remembering admin sign-ins). We don't use advertising or marketing trackers.
